Chandigarh Water Management
Project Brief:

Water management and distribution is a serious problem in tri-city Chandigarh, India. Its increasing population, disrupted rainfall, and increase in temperatures are putting the city’s water resources under stress. The French Development Agency (or AFD, a financial institution) with the help of the European Union has handled many successful projects in the past, especially in France, whose water management system is regarded as one of the finest in the world. So, by means of this audio-visual pitch to the Ministry of Punjab and MCC, AFD wanted to explore the possibility to work with the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh (MCC) by providing financial and technical expertise in launching the Pan-City Chandigarh 24X7 Water Supply project.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Storyboards, Illustrations, animation, sound design and editing. I was provided with a refined script by the client and post that I was free to explore the art style by myself. I was really fortunate to direct and produce the whole piece end to end.
Production:

The art director had an expectation of keeping the visual art very organic and fluid (something not clean vector graphics) since we are talking water here. So I did some research on the internet relevant to the requirement and prepared a mood board around it. After some back and forth we were able to crack the required style and the rest of the journey was like a breeze.
